OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

Being an Industry Leader doesn't mean being the biggest or the best. It's about being a leader in all aspects of the Industry you represent. The Candian Home Builders Association (CHBA) is a leader in representing the construction Industry. The CHBA Lethbridge region represents over 150 members, and we're one of them.

The CHBA Lethbridge region requires that all of it's members be either COR or SECOR certified. With Lethbridge Basement Ltd. being a leader in our industry we chose to take a proactive approach and pursue our COR certification.

What this means as a company is that we care about the well being of our employees. Tools and equipment are inspected on a regular basis to ensure they are in good working condition. We also take the necessary steps to provide a safe work site for our immediate employees, any sub-contractors who may be on site, and the general public who  are in the area. Our employees also wear all required Personal Protective Equipment at all times.

All of our employees receive a safety orientation when first hired. The orientation includes training in WHMIS, company specific safe job procedures and safe work practices, and specific on the job training. Our employees take an active approach to safety by contributing to our safety program to ensure not only their safety but those around them.
